As the leaves turn golden and the air takes on a refreshing crispness, it's that enchanting time of year when New York City truly shines. In this bustling metropolis, there's something especially captivating about the city during the fall. From hidden jazz gems to underground listening bars, New York's offerings are as diverse as its residents. So, take a journey with us through the city that never sleeps, discovering our must-visit spots for NYC this fall.

1. The Red Pavilion

Bushwick, Brooklyn

“The Red Pavilion comes alive as the sun sets, transforming into a smoky neon-lit cabaret venue and nightclub after dark.”

Chinese teahouse and apothecary by day, live jazz, cabaret, and nightclub by night. This venue is at the top of our NYC bucket list. The Red Pavilion is the coolest spot for live jazz, dim sum, and drinks.  We recommend booking in advance for the Friday jazz and burlesque show.

2. AnnTremet Afternoon Tea

West Village

After walking around all day in cold Manhattan, something sweet and warm is what you need. A relaxing afternoon tea experience satisfies those cravings, and is a perfect midday activity. Anntrement is a cake boutique offering an in person tea experience, where you choose your own cakes, cookies, and tea (obviously) along with a tier of tea sandwiches and dessert. 3. Hi-Note

Alphabet City

If you’re an audiophile and wanna seek out a spot that only plays vinyl, this radio bar is the place for you.  Hi-Note is a community radio bar with live DJ sets, coffee, cocktails, wine, and small plates. What makes it so special is its mix between a cafe and a bar (plus some amazing music), so you can enjoy this place during the day as well as the evening.

4. Syndicated

Bushwick, Brooklyn

Syndicated is a trifecta for everything you need on a cozy night- movie theater, bar, and restaurant. They show movies everyday ranging from cult classics to new indie films, and you can order food and drinks from the comfort of your seat. You can buy tickets here.

5. House Of Yes

Bushwick, Brooklyn

Looking for the ultimate spot to go out and dance? House of Yes offers everything ranging from DJ’s, burlesque dancers, theatrical cabaret, drag shows, and live music. The perfect spot for top performances and fun dance nights. You can find all their upcoming featured events here.

6. Gagosian

Upper East Side

The Gagosian is one of the most well known art galleries in the world, and is a must visit on your NYC gallery bucket list.  The gallery specializes in modern and contemporary art in addition with innovative online viewing rooms, featuring works by today’s leading artists. They have multiple locations in Manhattan and you can find them all here.

7. Pier 35

East River

Looking for the perfect view of the city, or a spot to watch the sunset and take photos? Pier 35 offers a gorgeous view, picnicking space, park with walk/ bikeways, and porch swings. Bundle up, grab a hot drink and watch the sun go down over the city!
